Rent a larger holiday cottage in England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland
As we all know cottage holidays can be an expensive affair, particularly when we're
stuck to taking a break during the school holidays. Well, here's an idea to
reduce the cost a little bit. Have you ever considered renting a large holiday cottage, and
holidaying with friends or family?
Share the cost
When you first look at the cost of renting a large holiday cottage, you may recoil in horror
at the cost; but don't be put off. Remember that if you're sharing the cottage, then
you're sharing the price too. So, although the price can seem expensive, by the time
you've split it amongst all of you, the price can become much more manageable.
Children won't get bored
Ah yes, the phrase "I'm bored"; many of us will be familiar with that during a holiday. You spend
all day doing exciting stuff to keep everyone happy, but the moment you stop for 5 mins for a cup of tea,
you get those dreaded words. Banish the boredom when you holiday with friends and family with kids of the
same age; they'll have someone to muck about with, so you won't have them watching TV with sour looks on their
faces!
Baby sitters
Go on holiday on your own (with the children, of course, can't leave them behind [again]) and you can't get any time to
yourself. Fancy going for a quiet drink, or out to a nice restaurant? If the kids are asleep upstairs, you won't
have any opportunity for this. But go away with friends and family, and you can take it in-turns to baby sit - so everybody
gets some time to yourself.
Fancy a large cottage?
If this has spurned you on to look for a large cottage, the only thing left is to try and
find some. Fortunately, finding large cottages isn't to hard, just have a little look at
the
large holiday cottages here. There's
a good selection all over the UK - with some in
Ireland too.
I hope you find the cottage which you like.
